Ryan Nelson

Ryan grew up in the valley back and forth between Whitefish and Kalispell. He graduated from Flathead High School, then made his way down to the University of Montana in Missoula to complete a degree in Elementary Education. Ryan began climbing in high school and soon I found himself integrating climbing into his everyday lifestyle.  RockFish Climbing and Fitness has been his home since it opened in 2016, and in 2017 Ryan developed the Team Scalers Youth Team Program. Instructing and coaching has always been Ryan's main passion beyond simply enjoying his own personal climbing and training. Feel free to say hi and perhaps you'll see him at the crag!
